LAKE BUNYONYI OVERLAND RESORT
The resort is located on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi and offers base to explore the lake, and is also regarded as a stop-over on the visitors’ way to visit the Mountain Gorillas in the national parks of Rwanda or Uganda in South Western Uganda. Bunyonyi Overland Resort was ecologically built, with local materials.
Accommodation
Accommodation at the resort is offered in comfortable safari tents, rooms, cottages and family cottages and also self-camping. The resort has 10 Furnished Safari Tents; these are furnished with twin beds, electric lighting, 2 directors chairs, a writing table and a hammock for your comfort. The rooms have shared facilities. The resort also has 12 Cottages which are located in two terraced blocks with panoramic views up the lake. The cottages offer both twin bedded and double bedded occupancy options. The rooms are all self-contained with their own bathroom, toilet facilities.
There are also 2 Family Cottages which are self-contained, and fully furnished for your convenience. The cottages have Satellite TV, lounge, two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 persons. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with utensils.
There are also 4 rooms which make up part of one terraced block. However the rooms are not self contained. There is also rent a mobile tent for budget travellers without the burden and bulk of their own camping equipment
